Canada attracts US residents who are looking for a job
Rising unemployment in the United States compels qualified U.S. workers to seek employment in other countries. Increasingly, they turn their attention at the neighbour country - Canada, whose economy is recovering from financial crisis faster than in their homeland. According to Jason Kenney, the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Canada annually issues about 35,000 work permits to U.S. citizens. Thus this figure tends to growth. Each year about 180 000 foreigners from different countries get a work permit in Canada. Earlier it was reported that, according to forecasts of the Ministry of Finance of Canada, the country`s economy expects moderate growth this year. Deterrent to the Canadian economy is a crisis in Europe.
